Josie Packard's Coat, Episode Twenty-Three

Josie Packard, Twin Peaks, Josie Packard clothing Twin Peaks, Josie Packard style Twin Peaks

As Josie re-enters the Blue Pine Lodge (episode twenty-three, 2.016, The Condemned Woman), she sees her husband Andrew Packard, a man she thought dead, sitting at the breakfast table. In shock, she faints, much to the delight of Andrew and his sister Catherine.

The coat Josie wears is far from the high-end designer clothing of her former life. Perhaps she borrowed one of Pete's coats to gather kindling. It is similar to the mid-century red Mackinaw Woolrich jacket he wears.

The wool coat appears to have been made by the Seattle-based company Filson. The Mackinaw Cruiser may have been manufactured in the 1950s and is known as a Peppermint Patty to collectors due to its brown, white, and green coloring.

The top button is fastened in the images above, which may account for why the collar appears different. The pattern, colors and pockets seem to match the coat worn by Josie.
