The Carpet and Claws

In season two, episode one (2.001,  May the Giant Be With You ), Maddy Ferguson has a vision in the Palmer living room. The carpet near her chair rapidly becomes darkened by a stain or an effect called pooling, or sometimes watermarking, which happens when fibers are moved in an opposing direction. The reason I question if it is a stain is that claw marks seem to appear after the darkness has spread.  Notice the marks intentionally raked across the carpet (Below).

Audrey Horne's Tree Cardigan

In season one, episode one (1.001, Traces to Nowhere) Audrey Horne meets Special Agent Cooper for the first time. She approaches his table, wearing a memorable vintage cardigan whose unique pattern consists of repeated and overlapping bare-branched trees.

I first came across a cardigan by the same manufacturer a few years ago on eBay. The color was not a match, and, unfortunately, the price went beyond my budget. However, I was thankful the opportunity provided the possibility to locate a possible match.
I was inspired to make this post after reading several comments about Audrey's cardigan while participating in a Twin Peaks watch party hosted by Twin Peaks Unwrapped.

Audrey's cardigan may be from a company called Darlene Knitwear, inc. It appears to have been made in the early '60s. The label says Minklam by Darlene. So far, I've seen Minklam by Darlene and Angelon by Darlene, which apparently were the names given to their particular fiber blends. The tags say they are 'hand-screen print'.

Laura of Pineweaselfashionshow has also found a possible match from a brand by the name Full Fashioned. She granted me permission to share an image of the tag from the sweater in her collection.

Designs are commonly copied. It is impossible to know which brand Ms. Horne is wearing as the sweaters outwardly appear identical as far as I can tell.

The following images are cardigans similar to Audrey's that were formally available on eBay and Etsy (courtesy of Google images and Pinterest):
