A Few Of Dr. Jacoby's Books
In episodes six and seven (1.006, Realization Time, and 1.007, The Last Evening), we see Dr. Jacoby's office, once as he watches his television and again when James and Donna search his office for Laura's cassette tapes.
One book whose title can partially be read may be the 1983 book Whole Body Healing by Carl Lowe, and James Nechas (and the editors of Prevention Magazine).

Another title on the table beside his chair appears to be The Silva Mind Control Method by José Silva and Philip Miele. There is a black book to the side with the words "Feel Free" in its title, but a match has yet to be found.
The most common copy of The Silva Mind Control Method is a blue paperback.
The image below is one of the only photos I can find of the book with a white jacket.

We see a close shot of some of the books by Jacoby's TV when Jacoby rushes to play a tape on his VCR. One of the most visible full titles appears to be The Making Of The Modern Mind by John Herman Randall Jr.
In episode seven (The Last Evening, 1.007), Donna and James search Jacoby's office. Donna pushes a button on the wall and music begins to play. Panicked, she asks James for help. When he finds a means of silencing the music, a few books can be seen. I believe one is the 1948 tome Oedipus Myth and Complex by Patrick Mullahy.
