Donna Hayward's Cardigan from 1.001 and 1.002
Donna Hayward's argyle sweater worn in episodes one and two (1.001, Traces to Nowhere, 1.002, Zen, or the Skill to Catch a Killer) was recently identified on Instagram by Laura of Pineweaselfashionshow. She and I seem to have found the cardigan within a similar time frame. When I wrote to her earlier this year, including a photo of my cardigan, she replied saying she'd also found the same sweater but hadn't posted it yet. I have to thank her as I would not have been searching for items from Liz Wear had it not been for her Instagram account. At the time, I was unaware the sweater was made by Liz Wear, and happened upon it by chance. Laura recently encouraged me to post images of my sweater.
Details of the pattern on the back and side of Donna's cardigan.
The front of her sweater.
The detail of her sleeve cuff.
The cardigan is of a substantial weight. The fiber soft, thick and warm.
The sleeve cuff.
My copy of the replica is showing its age in that the threads gape in some spots.
The sweater is a dark blue in reality, though it appears black in the televised episode. I believe this is primarily due to the use of filters.
In the photograph below, taken by Paula K. Shimatsu-U, Sheryl Lee as Laura is wearing the same argyle cardigan Donna wears.
In another photo, both Sheryl Lee and Lara Flynn Boyle pose as their characters wearing the same sweater. They appear to be in the Great Northern dining room. One has to wonder what story was once meant to be told through these images.

This has made me wonder if this fact is somehow connected to Sarah Palmer seeing Laura in place of Donna when she visits in episode 1.001. It seems an odd coincidence that Donna wears the same sweater at this moment.
