BOB's Eyes In Ronette's Memory

In season two, episode eight (May The Giant Be With You, #2.001), BOB almost appears to have blue eyes during Ronette's flashback.

As the scene continues, BOB's eyes become harder to see.

Later, after Laura is shown to have passed away, BOB's eyes return to brown.

The last image is visible for one frame. BOB appears to exhibit remorse after killing Laura. There is the possibility that we see the actions of Leland. Though if it is Leland, he seems void of his personality. He instead displays the feral behavior for which BOB is known.

The story was still in development at this point. My initial thought, and it is not necessarily a theory I stand by, is that BOB may have once possessed Laura as he seemingly did briefly in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. BOB is not hurting Laura in Ronette's memories. According to the script, we see from Ronette's point of view.

 Laura sees BOB in the mirror in FWWM.

The blue of BOB's eyes could be the eye color of whoever he possesses, as though their spirit is showing through.

In the end, I believe there may have once been more, but the story did not progress.
